There is a debatable issue about the use of traditional and alternative assessment in ELT 21st century. The comes from effectiveness using to help teacher assess students classroom situations ELT. problem teachers do not have better perspective challenges century through or both situation. That makes really effective specific skill (listening, reading, writing, speaking) students. This study aims, therefore, investigate teachers’ on methodology research survey with fifty English as samples this research. data was collected by questionnaire combine open-ended questions relate assessment. results show that many are comfort rather than since they claimed easier more familiar conduct However, those perspectives be changed, should based appropriate purposes skills because there make process become improve students’ performance English.
